Xiaomi announced the Redmi 4X 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage version in China; it will be available with a price tag of CNY 1,099 – approximately $159 and will be available in Cherry Blossom, Champagne Gold and Matte Black color options from 9th May 2017.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4X (Review) was launched two months ago in China. To recall, the company had announced the 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM variant priced at CNY 699 – approximately $102, while the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM version would cost CNY 899 – approximately $159.
The biggest highlight of the Xiaomi Redmi 4X is its all-metal body, as per the company said that the new Xiaomi Redmi phone has received a design upgrade. It features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display 2.5D curved glass and HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution with 450nit brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 72 percent NTSC color gamut.
Other highlight is its 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, PDAF and LED flash. There is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and wide-angle lens. It also features a rear fingerprint sensor and while the Redmi 4X 4GB RAM version is also powered by a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor clubbed with Adreno 505 GPU.
The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow -based on MIUI 8, a 4100mAh battery and Infrared sensor out of the box. Sports hybrid dual-SIM and 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 139.2 x 69.6 x 8.6mm, and weighs 150 grams.
