The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has been officially launched in China, it is the successor of the Mi MIX, a smartphone best known for its bezel-less display. The device has a ceramic rear panel is curved on to all the four edges, the Mi MIX 2 features a 5.99-inch display which is slightly smaller than the Mi MIX with a 6.4-inch display. It has Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
The Mi MIX 2 features 7-series aluminum frame, while the high-end model comes with a gold-plated ring around the rear camera sensor. The handset features cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic technology is now replaced with the physical speaker which is placed under the display. The sound comes out from the sound hole after traveling through the sound tube.
Of course, the MI MIX 2 is also comes with an updated with hardware featuring the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at 2.35GHz and is built on the 10nm FinFET process and that will be accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with microSD card slot up to 256 GB.
For optics, the device featuring a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor with 1.25-micrometer pixels and 4-axis stabilizer. The similar rear camera specs that we have seen on the Mi 6. The battery inside the new MI MIX 2 offers a 3400mAh. So, considerably reduced compared to the previous version.
It also revises the antennas compartment, which now offers compatibility with 43 different bands, including the long-awaited band 20 with dual SIM supports. There are also NFC for payments and WiFi MiMo 4×4.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 price in China has been set at CNY 3,299 – approximately $506 for 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model, CNY 3,599 – approximately $552 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and CNY 3,999 – approximately $613 for the 6GB RAM + 256GB storage model. There’s also a Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Special Edition with a full ceramic body has been priced at CNY 4,699 – approximately $721 for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage.
