The Xiaomi will soon launch a new laptop and a new smartphone brand dubbed as Xiaomi Kenzo, the specifications of these products have been disclosed. Information about a new sub brand form Xiaomi smartphone has just revealed by the Geekbench, which is completely different with familiar “MI” of manufacturers from China.
According to the specifications of the new Xiaomi Smartphones has been leaked through Geekbench, we can see the new phone named as Xiaomi Kenzo. This is likely just the codename of the device. The handset will run on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.
With MSM8952 motherboard, it will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset. However, the detailed parameter indicates the device has 6 cores with 1.4 GHz clock speed and will have 2GB of RAM. It’s much lower parameters compared to a 1.5GHz (Cortex-A53) Snapdragon 617 processor.
Many sources suggested that the Xiaomi Kenzo is the upcoming Redmi 3. The specifications are also quite similar to claim that. Besides the Redmi Note line products, the new emerging product line will be more affordable to Redmi line.
While talking about the upcoming Xiaomi Laptop, the specification of the laptop debut from Xiaomi is much similar to many laptops available in the market, but the price can not be much attractive, around $466 USD, reported from Taiwan.
The Xiaomi Notebook will feature a 12.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and will be launched in early next year. According to previous information, the Xiaomi Notebook will have a similar design to the MacBook Pro, with full metal body and comes with the Linux operating system to reduce the costs of the product.
About Xiaomi Laptop Specs, it will be equipped with 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 GPU with 2GB VRAM. Not any news on IPS panel that Xiaomi implanted this product with IPS screen or not, but, with such costs, it is difficult to do this.
Currently, Xiaomi has not confirmed this information on both Kenzo and Laptop. We have to wait for a big surprise from Xiaomi, so stay tuned for more detail.
