Vivo has announced the Z1i smartphone in China, a variant of the Vivo Z1 was introduced back in May this year. The differences are seen at SoCs, storage and camera department. The Z1 passes with the Snapdragon 660, while the Z1i comes with the Snapdragon 636, and the storage allocation goes up to 128GB (expandable to 256GB via microSD). The front camera is now 16MP (24MP in Vivo Z1).
Vivo Z1i Price and Availability
The Vivo Z1i price in China starts from CNY 1,898 – approximately $285 and it is now available for order in Black with Gold and REd color options. While the Vivo Z1 is now available at the discounted price of the CNY 1,798 – approximately $240 via Vivo store in China.
Vivo Z1i Specifications
The Vivo Z1i features a 6.26-inch Notch display with Full HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) resolution, and 19:9 aspect ratio. It has a 7.8mm slim metal unibody design and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM. It packs a 128GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the Z1i flaunts a dual camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor paired with LED flash. There is also a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. The handset also comes with smart beauty features, facial recognition technology, and a rear fingerprint sensor.
The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on FunTouch OS out of the box. It packs a 3260mAh battery and supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth, and USB. The device measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89mm and weighs 149.3 grams. It includes various sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
