Sennheiser launches HD 660 S over-ear headphones, the new model is open dynamic headphone and comes with new matt black and anthracite finish.
The Sennheiser HD 660 S headphones earcups have an elliptical design to follow the shape of the ears so that they are more comfortable even during long listening sessions. The headband has thick padding and cups have generous replaceable cushions provides a relaxing and luxurious experience. The weight of the headphones is about 260 grams.
The HD 660 S uses newly conceived drivers derived from those of the HD 650. The improvements made have allowed the overall harmonic distortion to be reduced, less than 0.04% (1 kHz, 100 dB). Coming to the technical specifications, a frequency response of 10 Hz to 41 kHz, a sensitivity of 104dB and an impedance of 150 Ohms. The headphones are supplied with two cables: one is equipped with a 6.35 mm jack, while the other offers a balanced output. There is also an adapter that transforms the 6.35mm jack into a 3.5mm jack.
The Sennheiser HD 660 S will be available from mid-October at a price of EUR 499 – approximately $589.
