The earphones position in the high-end segment, weigh 8 grams each (without cable) and use a refined version of Extra Wide Band (XWB) 7mm driver. The improvements made to extend to both high frequencies and bass. Sennheiser speaks of a more detailed sound and a more realistic representation.

The IE 800 S features dual-chamber absorber (D2CA) system. This technology prevents you from louder, low-frequency sounds to mask the details at high frequencies. D2CA prevents undesired peaks and makes all the intelligible details. In the box, we have three pairs of memory foam ear tips (S, M, L), you can choose between silicone and “Comply” (made with material that keeps the shape of the ear).
