Sennheiser has officially launched the IE 40 Pro in-ear monitoring headphones for professional users at the International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition (IBC2018) held in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Sennheiser IE 40 Pro is an entry-level product costs only $99.95.
Sennheiser said it will add to its new line of premium products including the IE 400 Pro along with the flagship IE 500 Pro next year. The Sennheiser IE 40 Pro is equipped with the latest 10mm dynamic single-driver. This new driver delivers powerful, accurate, and most importantly, extremely low distortion at just 0.1% (1kHz, 94dB).
The IE 40 Pro has a simple, and compact design and comes in Clear and Black color options with detachable cable along with an exclusive connector (patent pending for this connector).
Thanks to its good fit design, the IE 40 Pro can withstand up to 26dB of noise from the outside environment, which is essential for artists or DJs to perform on the stage. “IE 40 Pro is the first and most easily accessible product in the new Sennheiser series,” said Jannik Schentek, product manager for Sennheiser. “In actual testing, the sound quality of IE 40 Pro surprised the engineers and the band. They are delighted with IE 40’s clear, and natural sound reproduction that improves connectivity among band members while improving performance.
The Sennheiser IE 40 Pro in-ear monitoring headphones come with a soft pouch, Silicone adapter (S, M, L), Foam adapter (M), and cleaning tool.[amazon box=”B07FBBV6Y8″ /] [amazon box=”B07FBCBY8C” /]
