Samsung Gear 360 2017 Price Cut in US

Samsung Gear 360 2017 model, the 360-degree camera has received a price cut in USA. The 360 spherical camera is now listed on the Amazon store with an MRP of $189.36, which is $40.63 lower from the launch price.

To recall, the Gear 360 2017 version has gone on sale in the USA back in June this year, and was priced at $229.99. Unfortunately, there is no word whether the price cut is permanent or for a limited period.

New Samsung Gear 360 spherical camera now able to live broadcast or upload content directly to various social networking platforms such as Facebook, YouTube or Samsung VR. It is now compatible with a selection of third-party accessories and mounts and compatible with several Samsung smartphones including the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy A5 (2017), and Galaxy A7 (2017) as well as iOS devices including the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPhone SE, as well as Windows and Mac computers.

New Samsung Gear 360 2017 variant also comes with IP53 certification for dust and water resistance. It supports microSD cards of up to 256GB capacity and packs an 1160mAh battery. This new virtual reality camera offers 4K video recording and will sport two 8.4-megapixel image sensors with a bright lens (f/2.2 aperture) on both dual fisheye lenses. For connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, and USB 2.0 (Type-C). It measures 100.6 x 46.3 x 45.1 mm and weighs 130 grams.
