Samsung Galaxy C8 has been officially launched in China, it is a dual camera smartphone comes with a 13MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture paired with a 5MP secondary camera with a f/1.9 aperture to capture depth information. Samsung Galaxy C8 price yet to be unveiled, but it is listed on Samsung’s official Chinese website with full specifications. The device will be available in Black, Gold and Rose Gold color options.
Samsung Galaxy C8 Specifications
Samsung Galaxy C8 features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution with AlwaysOn Display feature and a 2.5D curved glass layer on top it. It is powered by 2.39GHz octa-core processor MediaTek Helio P20 SoC paired with ARM Mali T880 GPU. It comes in two options: 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable via microSD card up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy C8 features a vertical dual camera setup on the back comprising of a 13-megapixel camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5-megapixel camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture. Samsung also bringing the Galaxy Note 8’s Live Focus feature to the Galaxy J7+ for Bokeh shots. There is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture and selfie flash.
The Galaxy C8 packs a 3000mAh battery with dual SIM support, fingerprint sensor has been mounted in the home button and there is also Bixby voice assistant support as well. The handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, 4G VoLTE, measures 152.4 x 74.7 x 7.9 mm and weighs 180 grams.
