PlayStation Classic has already suffered a dramatic drop in price, and it can be purchased at a cost of $59.99 on Amazon now. At the moment it is not clear whether it is a temporary promotion or if Sony, due to uninspiring sales, has decided to officially cut the price.
The mini console, which “brings back to life” the unforgettable first model of PlayStation, has indeed received a warm reception mainly due to a game line-up that left with a bitter taste in the mouth of many Sony fans. Among the 20 pre-installed titles do not appear some “pearls” of the PlayStation era, including Silent Hill, MediEvil, Gran Turismo, Crash Bandicoot and the iconic GTA 2. Moreover, the mini console does not offer any kind of extra mode to improve the performance of modern TV games.
Waiting to find out if the price cut is permanent, please note that the package includes the PlayStation Classic, HDMI cable and the official PS Classic controllers (equipped with a 1.5 m cable), the only ones compatible with the console.
