Micromax Bolt Q338 and Canvas Spark 2 Budget Smartphones with 3G and Android 5.1 OS Launched

Micromax has introduced two new budget series smartphones – the Bolt Q338 and Canvas Spark 2. In which the Micromax Bolt Q338 is now listed on the Amazon.in site with a price tag of Rs. 7,490; While the Micromax Canvas Spark 2 will available for purchase via flash sale starting on 30th September only on Snapdeal with a price tag of Rs. 3,999.

The Micromax Bolt Q338 is a Dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. It features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The Micromax phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, MediaTek MT6580 SoC and coupled with 1GB of RAM.

It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while there is a 5-megapixel fixed focus front snapper with image editing applications. The Bolt Q338 also comes with so many pre-loaded apps such as Amazon Kindle, Amazon Shopping, App Center, Chaatz, Clean Master, Newshunt, Scandid, SwiftKey, Saavn, Quikr, Hike, and Hotstar.

On the connectivity front, the Micromax Bolt Q338 offers 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Micro-USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 3.5mm audio jack options. The device features 2000mAh battery which can be able to deliver standby time up to 360 hours and talk time up to 7.5 hours.

The Micromax Canvas Spark 2, on the other hand, features a 5-inch display with the FWVGA resolution of 480×854 pixels. This is also a Dual-SIM device and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS; while it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor, RAM capacity not disclosed yet.

It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage that is further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. There is a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera on board. The Canvas Spark 2 phone is backed by a 1800mAh battery which comes with a standby time up to 300 hours. The device supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, and Micro-USB options.
