The collaboration between KEF and Porsche Design has led to the creation of the Space One Wireless Headphones. These new over-ear headphones come with a sophisticated design that is very similar to Space One wired headphones was released last year.
New KEF Space One wireless headphones measure 195 x 170 x 82 mm and weigh 330 grams. There is also an active noise cancellation and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity with Qualcomm aptX. Obviously, there is also the possibility of using a 3.5 cable to connect the sources.
The sounds are reproduced by 40 mm drivers, accredited with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. The impedance is 16Ohm, while the sensitivity attests to 94dB. KEF declares that 20mm neodymium magnet, combined with other refinements, delivers a high-dynamic, and rich sound.
The KEF Space One Wireless is powered by an 850mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 30 hours of playback time with Bluetooth and active noise cancellation on; up to 40 hours of usage time with Bluetooth on and noise canceling off and up to 110 hours of playback time with noise canceling on and Bluetooth off. Availability of the KEF headphones is scheduled for late October, but it is listed on Amazon store at $400 with “Temporarily out of stock” tag (writing time).
