Microsoft has announced the upcoming release of Halo: Recruit, an unprecedented experience for Mixed Reality Headset that will be available free-to-play on the Microsoft Store from October 17, when HP, Acer, Dell and Lenovo ‘s Mixed Reality headsets will approach the market.
The detail on what type of gaming contents or experience will Halo: Recruit is still limited, Microsoft has not explained in detail how the game will use Mixed Reality Technology. It should still be a fairly simple experience. Alex Kipman, head of Microsoft’s Mixed Reality division, said:
“It’s a fun, brief introduction into the world of Halo. You’ll see a variety of iconic characters in mixed reality for the first time.”

As of now, we do not know for sure whether and when Windows Mixed Reality will also be available on the Xbox One consoles family, however, we are confident that latest news will arrive in the coming months, and also considering that Sony with its VR headset on PlayStation 4 is getting good results in terms of sales.
