Icy Dock ToughArmor MB834M2K-B allows you to install two M.2 PCIe SSD

Simultaneously with the ToughArmor MB720M2K-B mobile rack, which allows you to place four M.2 PCIe SSD drives with NVMe support in a 5.25-inch drive bay, and a similar ToughArmor MB833M2K-B product that allows you to install one M.2 SSD in the drive bay, Icy Dock also introduced the ToughArmor MB834M2K-B. It makes it possible to install two M.2 PCIe NVMe in the drive bay.

As in the other two baskets, drives are installed in special trays that are designed for M.2 PCIe SSD of any standard length, up to 110 mm. Drives in trays are fixed with a movable latch, without the use of any tools. Allegedly, the tray provides an electromagnetic shield and good drive cooling. Heat removal is facilitated by complete heat-conducting gaskets. The aluminum tray lid is essentially a radiator.

The ToughArmor MB834M2K-B supports blazing-fast PCIe x4 transfer speed up to 32Gb/s via MiniSAS HD (SFF-8643) and accepts all standard M.2 drives lengths from 30mm to 110mm. In addition, while working together with numbers of ventilation holes around the enclosure, each drive tray is equipped with a high-efficiency aluminum heat sink to ensure all the M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs remain within their optimal temperature even when it is under full load.
