The Chinese manufacturer today announced the much-awaited Huawei Mate 10 smartphone, which distinguishes itself mainly due to the Fullview display, the amount of RAM and storage, a revised connectivity section and the presence of the IP53 certification (water and dust resistance).

Specifically, the Huawei Mate 10 features a 5.9-inch Fullview display, uses an LCD panel with QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, and pixel density of 499ppi and 16:9 screen ratio. The panel is RGBW HDR10 with 730nits brightness for perfect visibility even in the direct light and provides highly efficient power consumption management thanks to Backlight technology that saves up to 14 percent.
Huawei Mate 10 packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage, while retaining the Kirin 970 chipset with NPU (Neural Processing Unit). The differences are also present with regard to connectivity, with the support of the 4G VoLTE Cat.16 network up to 1Gbps of navigation speed. The Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 3.1, and Near Field Communication (NFC).
As far as photography is concerned, the Mate 10 bears an 8-megapixel fixed focus selfie camera with f / 2.0 aperture, while the rear has dual camera sensors: one is 20-megapixel monochrome Leica sensor with f/1.6 aperture and secondary 12-megapixel RGB sensor with f/1.6 aperture paired with 2x Hybrid Zoom, laser auto focus, optical image stabilization (OIS), Huawei’s own dual ISP and dual-tone LED flash.
Artificial intelligence engine offers Real-Time Scene and Object Recognition functionality, automatically choosing the perfect camera settings for any environment or focal point and also instantly translate text, voice, conversations, and images into 50+ languages.
Huawei Mate 10 is equipped with a fingerprint sensor located in the center of the back cover (just below the dual cameras), offers IP53 certification, packs a 4000mAh battery with SuperCharge 4.5V / 5A and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Emotion UI 8.0 interface on top of it.
Huawei Mate 10 price is EUR 699 – approximately $825 and will be available in November in over fifteen regions, including Australia, China, Egypt, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain and more in Pink Gold, Champagne Gold, Mocha Brown and Classic Black colors.
