Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G: First smartphone with iris scanning technology Launched

Fujitsu has officially introduced the world’s first smartphone to integrate iris scanning technology called Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G.According to information, the Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G will be released in Japan by Docomo network. Currently there is no information about Fujitsu will introduce this product to the international market.

The Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G has a 5.2 inch IPS display with 2K resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and will run latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system as out of the box. This Fujitsu smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, an Octa-core Processor (unspecified clock speed) and Adreno 430 graphics chip. The device will be packed with a 3 GB RAM, 32 GB of internal memory and battery capacity of 3120 mAh.

The Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G is also features a 21-megapixel rear camera from Sony. Its main highlight is the iris scanning technology. This feature is called Fujitsu Iris Passport, with the support of the camera to scan the iris of people and takes about half a second to unlock the device. Furthermore, Iris Passport can be used with any application that requires a password, or for payment authentication.

The Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, GPS connectivity. It is considered the first smartphone integrated iris scanning technology in the world. The Fujitsu Arrows NX price around $750 and will be sold by Docomo operator in Japan.
