FeiyuTech – one of the most famous manufacturers of gimbal mounts, launches a new gimbal for the camera, smartphones and GoPro action cams including Feiyu G6 Max 3-Axis Handheld Stabilized Camera Gimbal, Feiyu AK2000S 3-Axis Handheld Stabilizer, Feiyu Vimble 2S 3-Axis Handheld Phone Gimbal, Feiyu Vimble 2A 3-Axis Handheld GoPro Gimbal, and TFeiyu QING Motion Control Device.
Feiyu G6 Max 3-Axis Handheld Camera Gimbal Stabilizer 3-in-1
This is an upgraded version of the G6 Plus, it supports up to 2.6 lb, so, cameras like the Sony a7S can be mounted yet it weighs only 1.5 lb. It is a compact and lightweight as well as offers an OLED display, the continually rotating Inception mode, it is also splash-proof, and this will be useful in many of your activities with an action camera, among other applications.
It can tilt up to 280°, roll up to 330°, and pan up to a full 360°. The camera mounting platform can also be switched to portrait mode for applications such as selfie capture and vlogging. The battery is built-in and provides around nine hours of operation, depending on your payload. The battery is rechargeable via an onboard USB Type-C port.
Supported cameras include select Canon, Panasonic, Sony, GoPro, and other models. Select Panasonic and Sony cameras can also be connected to the gimbal’s USB Type-C port via included cables for control directly from the gimbal buttons.
Feiyu AK2000S 3-Axis Handheld Stabilizer
It supports up to 4.85 lb loads and includes a rear handle that attaches to the gimbal for easy underslung operation. The AK2000S is an update to the AK2000, now it supports fast charging via the onboard USB Type-C port. It has a built-in battery up to 14-hour runtime, and it can be fully recharged in only 1.5 hours using a fast charger.
The AK2000S features an Arca-Swiss-compatible quick release plate assembly that will allow you to efficiently move your camera between the gimbal and other gear with Arca-Swiss support. It also has a touchscreen display that allows you to set parameters and make other selections. Select cameras can also be connected to the gimbal via included cables for control directly from the gimbal buttons.
Feiyu Vimble 2S 3-Axis Handheld Phone Gimbal
The Vimble 2S offers motorized pan, tilt, and roll motion control for smartphones and is also capable of telescoping out an additional 7.2-inches. The extra length also lets you shoot from various creative angles. Supported phones included the iPhone 11 and Samsung Galaxy S10. The iPhone 11 Pro Max is not compatible because it exceeds the load capacity.
It can provide up to 12 hours of runtime and battery is rechargeable via an included USB cable. The companion Feiyu ON iOS/Android app syncs up with your phone to allow various controls directly from the gimbal buttons, including zoom control and record start/stop. A desktop tripod is included for setting the gimbal down between shoots.
Feiyu Vimble 2A 3-Axis Handheld GoPro Gimbal
The Feiyu Vimble 2A is designed for the GoPro HERO7/6/5, and it’s also capable of telescoping out an additional 7.2-inches. It comes with a mounting clip and also allows direct control of action cameras from the gimbal buttons by syncing the two to the companion Feiyu ON iOS/Android app. Additionally, optional Feiyu adapters can be used to attach the Osmo Action, YI, SJCAM, and Feiyu Ricca action cameras.
The action camera gimbal features expansive pan and tilts rotation of 330° and roll axis rotation of 195°. In All Follow mode, all three axes can be set to follow the movements of your hand within these ranges, for POV capture. A built-in battery provides up to 10 hours of runtime and it attaches to a 1/4″-20 threaded hole on the bottom of the gimbal.
TFeiyu QING Motion Control Device
It is a motorized pan and tilt gimbal designed to provide an efficient workflow for time-lapse photography and general applications. It features a 7.7 lb load capacity and has a 3/8-inch-16 thread on the bottom for mounting it on tripods and sliders. It offers a full 360° pan rotation and 60° tilt, and it offers a wide range of assignable pan and tilt speeds. It’s designed with brushless motors that allow for smooth and precise rotation.
It comes with a touchscreen remote controller that’s used to set everything up remotely. Using an optional smartphone adapter, you can attach your phone to the controller and monitor your image from the phone. Offering multiple connections, QING lets you connect optional focus motors and other gear. Additionally, an optional Bluetooth mic can be connected remotely to let you capture audio along with the video.
Price, and Availability
Starting with the Feiyu G6 Max camera gimbal, it is priced $279. The Feiyu AK2000S Standard kit option is priced at $349 and an Advanced kit for $399. The new Feiyu Vimble 2S phone gimbal and Vimble 2A GoPro gimbal are priced at $99, respectively. While the B&H Exclusive TFeiyu QING Motion Control Device is available for $699.
