Denon AH-GC30, AH-GC25W, and AH-GC25NC Headphones Launched

Denon has introduced a series of latest headphones in its high-end Global Cruiser range including two wireless models AH-GC30, AH-GC25W, and AH-GC25NC wired headphones. Among them are two models Denon AH-GC30 and AH-GC25NC, equipped with the latest noise cancellation technology. This enables the company to compete directly with the noise-proof earphones of Sony’s compatriot.

The Denon AH-GC30 wireless headphones of the Global Cruiser series will feature a 40mm driver with new Denon FreeEdge drivers technology, commonly found in Denon’s wooden audiophile headphones such as AH-D5200 and D7200. It is performance tuned and Hi-Res certified drivers, deliver high-fidelity and immersive sound. This technology cancels out unwanted resonances to provide detailed, accurate sound. Soft, pliant surround materials allow the drivers to deliver crisp highs, deep bass and precise imaging without flexing or distorting the music signal, ensuring the best possible acoustic experience.

The earcup section also comes with a built-in ambient monitor. Simply tap the AH-GC30 earcup and the built-in microphone ensures you hear the outside world. It also supports the Denon Audio smartphone app – available on both iOS and Android, to giving you fingertip control with a range of functions.

Both Denon AH-GC30 and AH-GC25W wireless headphones support high-end wireless connection, including aptX HD Bluetooth, you can also connect cable via USB port directly on the computer. Battery life is up to 20 hours continuously when using noise cancellation and Bluetooth, or up to 25 hours only when the noise cancellation used. As for the AH-GC25NC wired headphones, it is possible to use up to 40 hours continuous when noise cancellation is turned on.

Denon’s latest cancellation technology uses two built-in microphones on each earcup to eliminate outside frequencies. Three levels of cancellation include ‘City’, ‘Office’ and ‘Flight’ to ensure noise immunity is compatible with each environment.

The Denon AH-GC30 price has been set at $399.00 and already up for pre-orders on Amazon and shipping will start from March 15th. While the Denon AH-GC25NC and AH-GC25W are priced at $299 and $249 respectively, which will be released later in May.
