Apple Watch received the first firmware update: Watch OS 1.0.1

Watch OS 1.0.1 may be seen as a first major update of Apple Watch, as it gives us a lot of valuable improvements, and bug fixes and performance enhancements, such like Siri feature.

With the first update, the Apple Wrist Watch can now calculate the amount of calories consumed when you ride at home or while boating. Able to measure the distance and steps when you walk outdoors. Then there are more than 300 new Emoji emoticons from iOS version 8.3 for Apple Watch and better support for external app.

Finally, Watch OS 1.0.1 supports many languages other like Portugal, Danis, the Netherlands, Sweden, Russia, Thailand, and Turkey. Watch OS 1.0.1 update size up to 51.6 MB, this update can be installed via the iPhone when it’s paired with Apple Watch.

Before update new Watch OS 1.0.1, your Apple Watch must contain at least 50% of battery and must be connected to the iPhone.
