Vivo Y89 With 6.26-inch Notch Display, 16MP Selfie, and Dual Rear Cameras Launched

After the launch of the Y91 and Y93 smartphones in India now the company is adding a new member to its Y series in China called Vivo Y89. It is mid-budget device comes with a 6.26-inch 18:9 notch display, 4GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras and fingerprint sensor from the Vivo Chiana being launched today.

Vivo Y89 Price and Availability

The Vivo Y89 price in China starts from CNY 1,396 – approximately $208 for the sole 4GB RAM with32GB storage version. The device and will go on sale in China later this week and Aurora Blue and Black with Gold color options.

The Vivo Y89 features a 6.26-inch 2.5D curved glass IPS display with Full HD+ (2280 × 1080 pixels) resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and notch. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 626 Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It packs a 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.

On the camera front, the Y89 flaunts a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera to capture the depth information for portrait shots, For selfie, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with A.I face beauty, and face unlock.

The Vivo Y89 has a metal and glass design along with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on Funtouch OS 4.0 out of the box. It packs a 3260mAh battery, supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB 2.0. The device measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89mm and weighs 149.3 grams.
