Vivo X9, X9 Plus and Xplay 6 Smartphones With Dual Camera Setup Launched

Vivo China on Wednesday launched three new smartphones in the Chinese market, namely the Vivo X9, X9 Plus and Xplay 6. The Vivo X9 price is set to 2,798 Yuan – approximately $407 USD for the 64GB model and the 128GB variant will cost 2,998 Yuan – approximately $436 USD, and both can be pre-ordered in China from today.

Coming to Vivo X9 Plus price, the company said it will be disclosed on the 26th December end of this year. While the Vivo Xplay 6 price in China is about 4,498 Yuan – approximately $654 USD and is now available to pre-order in China. All three Vivo smartphones come in Gold and Rose Gold color variants.

All three smartphones run Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, and supports dual SIM 4G VoLTE connectivity. While the Vivo X9 and X9 Plus features dual front-facing cameras including a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel secondary camera. At rear both the phones have a 16-megapixel autofocus camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. Both devices also come with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the front home button.

Display of the X9 is a 5.5-inches has Super AMOLED panel with full-HD (1080×1920 pixels)  resolution and is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 64-bit chipset clubbed with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM, and 64GB / 128GB of native storage space. It measures 152.6x74x6.9mm, weighs 154 grams and packs in a 3050mAh battery with fast charging support. 

Coming to the Vivo X9 Plus, on the other hand comes with the slightly larger display size of 5.88-inches has Super AMOLED panel with full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 (MSM8976 Pro) processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with Adreno 510 GPU. It packs in huge 6GB of RAM and comes in 64GB / 128GB of internal storage.

The X9 Plus packs a 4000mAh battery under the hood with fast charging technology. It measures 162x79x7.4mm and weighs 199 grams.

Now the Vivo Xplay 6 is also features a dual rear camera system comes with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 sensor, PDAF, f/1.7 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. While a 5-megapixel secondary rear camera. For selfie, it has a 16-megapixel camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture. Display is a 5.46-inches with dual curved edge Super AMOLED panel and Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution.

The Vivo Xplay 6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor clubbed with Adreno 530 GPU and 6GB of DDR4 RAM, and 128GB storage option only. It also sports a fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button. It packs a 4080mAh battery with fast charging support. It measures 153.8×73.5×8.4mm and weighs 178 grams.
