Vaio Phone Biz smartphones running Windows 10 has been officially announced to the market. Recently, Vaio Phone Japan reported that its planning to launch the first smartphone running Windows 10 OS. Less than a week, this rumor has come true.
Vaio Phone Biz Windows 10 Mobile smartphone, similar to the its laptop designs, uses aluminum unibody looks quite impressive. According to the images, the handset is very upscale and expensive looking. A very familiar VAIO logo on the back, and now it has appeared on the phone.
Accordingly, the Vaio has officially introduced the company’s first Windows 10 phone. Earlier, the Vaio is only known to manufacture computers or laptops.
In terms of specifications, the Vaio Phone Biz features a 5.5-inch display with Full HD 1080p resolution. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. The remaining specifications are disclosed by the company include 3GB of RAM, 16GB expandable storage, and 13-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel camera on the front. It packs in 2800mAh battery out of the box.
Additionally, VAIO Windows Phone supports Cortana and features Continuum on Windows 10. The handset will officially hit the store in April of this year, Vaio Phone Biz price in Japan is set to ¥50,000 – approximately $430 USD. It’s unclear that it be available outside of the Japanese market.
Note, VAIO has been split into a separate company after Sony sells brands as well as parts for a Japanese investment fund in 2014. With the launch of VAIO Mobile Phone, we can see Japan Industrial leaders have huge ambitions to develop Vaio. This is clearly good news for the fans of this brand.
