In line with its earlier announcement, Amazon US store has now made available the Unlocked Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 smartphone for purchase in USA before the official the announcement. The smartphone has been priced at $379.99, and available in Gold, Black and Blue color options. 
On basis of available information, the handset is not available with all the retailers, while the store has also listed the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 recently, and available in Blue, Gold, Black and Pink color variants.
The South Korean company’s Galaxy A 2017 series smartphones were launched ahead of CES 2017 and feature “enhanced” cameras compared to their predecessors, as per the company. The company says that the camera setup on Galaxy A 2017 series smartphones have been optimised for low-light conditions. The new series of smartphones also comes with an impressive IP68 dust and water resistance.

Samsung also says the smartphones feature a simplified camera UX that makes taking selfies, switching modes, or applying filters and effects much simpler. A Food Mode is also being boasted off. The Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 also come with a metal frame and 3D glass back panel that draws on Samsung’s premium design heritage. 
All new unlocked Galaxy A3 2017 smartphone compared to previous Galaxy A series smartphones is the support for up to 256GB microSD cards for storage expansion, a fingerprint scanner on the Home Button, the presence of fast charge support and USB Type-C port, apart from an Always on Display. Other features include support for Samsung Pay (with both NFC and MST compatibility), Samsung Cloud, and Secure Folder.
The Galaxy A3 2017 features a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution, and is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It bears 16GB of native storage that is expandable via microSD card and packs a 2350mAh battery.
On the camera front, this new Samsung phone include a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, and LED flash, apart from an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/1.9 aperture to capture wide group selfies. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, come in dual-SIM options, support 4G (LTE Cat. 6), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB Type-C. Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
