Sharp 4k and 8k TV appeared at CES 2015

Sharp present a new 85 inch 8K TV lines at CES 2015. In fact, this is not an 8K TV resolution, it is the Beyond 4K UHD TV appeared in a recent time. By the algorithm and advanced technology that Sharp was able to raise the number of sub-pixels of their 4k TV, up at the threshold between Sharp 4k and 8k TV they call it is close to the quality of the 8k TV. Last year, Sharp has successfully created a Full-HD TV with Pixel side almost 4k TV, of course, the price of conventional Full-HD TV.


With Full-HD TV it has 6 million sub-pixels, while 4K with 24 million – 4 times extra for Full-HD, Beyond the Sharp 4k and 8k TV with 66 million to 100 million. Thus, the 66 million figure is considered to be close to the amount of extra 8K pixels. Sharp do this thanks to the Quattron + split their extra pixels. This technology will split sub-pixel RGB pixels to add more yellow in color system, thereby increasing number of sub-pixels. The result is a lot of screen pixels, for smoother images. Sharp performances and compare the difference between Sharp 4k and 8k TV. Indeed This technology brings a certain value for the Sharp TV.

Sharp exhibited a prototype sample size of 85 inches 8K LED TV, which reached a very high resolution is 7680×4320 pixels, and a 4K UHD LCD screen sizes up to 120 inches. Sharp 88 inch 8k TV picture quality is still very smooth, hard to detect the pixels on it.

Sharp AQUOS TV Shows new technology, this product can display up to 66 million pixels, 42 million higher than the normal 4K TV. 4K UHD AQUOS TV running the Android platform and TV size 80 inch version will cost $ 6,000. Besides, they also released Super Slim system 4K UHD TV 70 inch screen, ultra-thin only 0.5 inches – 1.2 cm.
