Schneider Electric unveils first eSports certified APC Back UPS Pro Gaming for Gamers

The APC Back UPS Pro Gaming UPS system has a Sinewave battery backup and automatic voltage regulation, as well as a set of features that allow it to protect gaming systems and accessories from over seven different types of power outages. 

Last month, Schneider Electric USA announced the launch of the all-new UPS APC Pro Gaming, the first eSports-certified UPS battery backup designed to protect gaming hardware. Now, these new APC smart UPS that can save your hardware from electrical hazards can finally be pre-ordered and shipments are expected to begin before the end of the month.

The APC Smart UPS model BGM1500, which is offered on Amazon and Bhphotovideo online stores for $259.99, comes equipped with an interactive LCD display with a circle of reactors that changes color to signal dips, surges, and remaining power. The list of features is generous for a device in this class and includes customizable RGB ambient LED lighting, six battery-powered backup outlets and four outlets with surge-only protection, three USB charging ports (two USB-A and a USB-C), automatic voltage regulation compatible with active PFC, surge-protected 1GB data line ports, gold-plated coaxial ports, as well as hot-swappable batteries.

New UPS APC by Schneider Electric has an RJ45 data port at the back allows users to take advantage of USB interfacing using the included cable. Using a user-replaceable, hot-swappable battery, this UPS allows users to minimize downtime and get back to gaming in the event of battery depletion. The APC BackUPS Pro Gaming incorporates customizable ambient LED lighting. 

There are two USB Type-A ports and a USB Type-C port on the front of the unit provides charging ports for smartphones or tablets. It also supports PowerChute Software allows to access additional power protection and management features.
