Samsung recently introduced the ViewFinity S65TC, a feature-rich business monitor to complement the Samsung ViewFinity S9 2024. This monitor boasts a 34-inch VA panel with UWQHD resolution (3440 x 1440 pixels, 21:9), a 100 Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support, 1000 R curvature, and 10-bit color depth.
Key specifications include 350 cd/m² typical brightness, 5 ms response time (gray to gray), a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and power consumption of 32 watts (SDR) or 52 watts (HDR). If desired, the Samsung S65TC also has two 5-watt speakers for audio output.
It features FreeSync functionality for tear-free gaming and supports picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes, daisy chaining, a docking station, and a KVM switch.
In terms of interfaces, the ViewFinity Monitor S65TC offers DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0, USB 3.0 hub, RJ-45 socket, headphone output, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports (upstream and downstream). The Thunderbolt 4 ports not only transmit graphic signals, but can also charge external devices with up to 15 or 90 watts, and facilitate multi-monitor setups through daisy chaining.
In addition to its impressive features, the monitor boasts ergonomic options such as tilt, rotation, height adjustment, VESA mounting (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlighting.
