Panasonic has announced the new firmware updates for Lumix DC-GH5, DC-GH5S, DC-G9, and DC-GX9 cameras. Following the news for all models:

Panasonic Lumix GX9

Lumix GH5 – firmware version 2.4

  • Improved autofocus performance.
  • Improved video recording functionality.

Lumix GH5S – firmware version 1.2

  • Improved autofocus performance.
  • Improved stability on the HDMI output.
  • Improved performance in video recording.
  • Improved yield in specific lighting conditions (fluorescent lights, etc.).

Lumix DC-G9 – firmware version 1.2

  • Improved autofocus performance.
  • Improved yield in specific lighting conditions (fluorescent lights, etc.).

Lumix DC-GX9 – firmware version 1.2

  • Improved yield in specific lighting conditions (fluorescent lights, etc.).

The firmware will be available on the Lumix Global Customer Support website at the end of October.
