Onyx Black UMi Plus E hands-on Video

UMi Plus E sale started officially, users are going to receive their pre-ordered Plus E very soon. While waiting, UMi phones company today released a new UMi Plus E hands-on Video where we can see an official unboxing made by the company itself, so we can have a taste of what we are getting when our shipment will be delivered! 

We finally have the opportunity to see the gorgeous Onyx Black device in its definitive appearance:  Crafted from bead-blasted aluminum like iPhone’s Black Space, Umi Mobile Phone ’s new black model has a rich, deep matte finish. More than 125 processes are required to obtain the premium crafted metal body, the end result is so purely and continuously black, you can’t tell where the aluminum ends and the front glass begins. The dark side, indeed.

In previous weeks, we have also seen a video of the phone running an AnTuTu benchmark: The Plus E scored of more than 60.000 points, an increase of over 20% compared to the Helio P10,  while the new productive process at 16nm offers 25%  less power consumption and less heat.

On the GPU Side, we see an increase of over 25% compared to P10, with a 3D score of more than 11.000 points, so no problems on the gaming side.  Also, thanks to the 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, more than 50 apps stay in cache with the phone operating as smooth as if cache was clean.

The Plus E is world’s first Helio P20-powered smartphone. The phone packs an impressive 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card), a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display made by Sharp, a 4,000mAh battery with PE+ Fast Charging support, a 13-megapixel PDAF Samsung snapper placed on the back of the UMi Plus E aerospace-class aluminum chase. A fingerprint scanner (Touch ID 2.1) is also included, the device offers support for Cat. 6 4G LTE connectivity.
