Samsung Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen edition with KVM switch

Last year saw the introduction of the Samsung Odyssey Ark, a substantial gaming monitor, and now the manufacturer is gearing up for the release of the improved Odyssey Ark 2. While detailed information is still limited, it appears that the key specifications for the new LS55CG970NNXGO model remain largely unchanged.

The new iteration is expected to retain its impressive features, including a 54.6-inch VA panel, a mini-LED backlight, FreeSync Premium Pro, HDR support, Tizen OS, and a Dolby Atmos sound system. Notably, it will continue to boast a 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) at a blazing 165 Hz, ensuring a seamless and immersive gaming experience.

Additionally, the monitor will maintain its lightning-fast 1 ms gray-to-gray response time and an extreme 1000 R curvature, enhancing visual engagement.

In terms of connectivity, the Odyssey Ark 2 will now offer three HDMI 2.1 inputs, one less than its predecessor, but will compensate with the inclusion of a DisplayPort 1.4 and KVM switch functionality. One of its standout features is the multi-view capability, enabling users to display content from up to four sources simultaneously. Moreover, the monitor will incorporate pivot functionality and a cockpit mode, automatically adjusting the display when aligned vertically.

Building on the legacy of its precursor, the Samsung Ark 2 will retain features like Bluetooth, WLAN, Ark Dial, USB hub, and an RJ-45 socket, ensuring a comprehensive and seamless user experience.
