MSI Optix G273 G-Sync Compatible Monitor with 165Hz

The MSI confirmed that the 27 inch gaming monitor MSI Optix G273 is expected to be available in the country. The new MSI gaming monitor uses an IPS panel, has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD), and achieves a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz.

The contrast ratio is 1000:1, the color depth is 8 bits, the brightness is 300 cd/m², and the response time is 1 ms. The latter seems to be an MPRT specification (“Moving Picture Response Time”) and does not refer to the gray change.

MSI Optix G273 features 131 percent sRGB and 94 percent DCI-P3 also promised. G-Sync compatible Adaptive Sync can be used to eliminate tearing in games. The range of interfaces includes two HDMI 1.4b inputs (Full HD at max. 144 Hz ), a DisplayPort 1.2a (Full HD at max. 165 Hz), and a headphone output. Apparently, there are no USB ports at all.

The 27 inch gaming monitor weighs 4.5 kg and can only be tilted, and comes with a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm). Eye-friendly sessions are guaranteed by a blue light filter and a flicker-free backlight.
