Moto G Turbo Edition with 13MP Camera and 2GB RAM Launched in India

Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition, on Thursday has been officially unveiled in India. This handset was announced last month in Mexico. This Turbo Edition is exclusively available from online Flipkart store priced at Rs. 14,499 – approximately $217 in India. At the moment, the Turbo Edition is available only in two Black and While color variants in India.

The handset features a 5-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels translating a pixel density of 294ppi and also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa-core processor that can backed by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8929) SoC along with Adreno 405 GPU. It packs a 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded with the help of microSD card up to 32GB.

As for more Moto G Turbo Edition specifications, it includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Field of View, Auto Focus, Slow Motion, Auto HDR, Panorama and much more. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture to click wide group selfies and quality video calling. Both of them also able to shoot Full HD 1080p videos. It is IP67 certified device that makes it water resistant smartphone so it can able to stay in the water of up to 3 feet for 30 minutes.

The Moto G Turbo Edition runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS along with dual SIM functionality out of the box. It comes with a 2470mAh battery under the hood that supports Motorola Turbo Power quick charging technology. For connectivity front, include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS and Micro-USB 2.0 options.
