Foldable solar panel Anker Solix PS400 charges solar generators with up to 400 W

Anker is introducing its most powerful and lightweight foldable solar panel with the Solix PS400. This remarkable device can charge solar generators with an impressive 400 W of power while remaining conveniently compact when folded.

Anker has previously offered two solar panel options for charging their solar generators: the Anker 625 (approx. $330 on Amazon), rated at 100W, and the Anker 531 (approx. $550 on Amazon), rated at 200W. Now, the company is launching a new lightweight foldable solar panel under their brand new Solix lineup, which includes solar generators, accessories, and even balcony power plants.

The Anker Solix PS400 harnesses the power of the sun to charge power stations and solar generators with up to 400 W. Due to its high performance, this model is only compatible with Anker’s top-tier Solix F2000, formerly known as the Anker PowerHouse 767 (approx. $550 on Amazon), as well as the brand-new Solix F1200 power station. Under ideal conditions, the former model can be charged within 5.7 hours using the panel, while the F1200 only requires 3.3 hours. These devices are connected through the panel’s two MC4 ports and the power station’s XT-60 connection.

Anker highlights that the new Solix PS400 utilizes monocrystalline solar cells with an impressive conversion efficiency of 23 percent. As is customary, the panel can be adjusted to three different angles using the built-in supports on the back, allowing for optimal alignment with the sun.

Similar to its smaller counterparts, the new lightweight foldable solar panel is IP67-protected, enabling it to be folded to a quarter of its original size, measuring around 260 x 91 cm when unfolded. With dimensions of 91 x 66 cm and a weight of approximately 16 kg, it is significantly easier to transport.

Anker Solix PS400 price and availability

The Anker Solix PS400, offering an exceptional 400 W solar charging capacity, is now available for purchase on Amazon.com. Priced at $999.99, this new foldable solar panel is slightly more affordable compared to the two 200 W models.
