The LG 27GN750 240hz gaming monitor was introduced last year is getting a successor model called the LG UltraGear 27GP750-B, which is identically equipped in many ways. The 240 hertz monitor measures 27 inches diagonally and has an IPS panel with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels).
The maximum refresh rate is 240 Hz, which is demanding in terms of these fps ranges despite 1080p depending on the game and requires appropriate hardware and/or the reduction of graphic details. The response time is 1 ms (gray to gray), the contrast ratio is 1000: 1, and the color depth is 8 bits.
The advertised HDR10 support is fired rather poorly than quite by 400 cd/m² typical brightness. The new LG display has 99 percent sRGB coverage and implements both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA GSYNC compatible Adaptive Sync as anti-tearing measures.
LG screen also has a black stabilizer that brightens dark areas in games if necessary. On the connection side, there are two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4 and a headphone output. In contrast to the previous model mentioned above, USB interfaces seem to be dispensed with this time.
On the ergonomic side, LG 27GP750-B can be tilted, adjusted in height and pivot can be moved. A flicker safe feature reduced background lighting, a blue light filter, and a VESA mounting are 100 x 100 mm on board as usual.
