Lenovo K8 Plus has been launched in India, it is the latest mid-range smartphone device from the company in the K series. The smartphone key features are dual rear camera setup, Android 7.1.1 Nougat stock operating system, and a massive 4000mAh battery capacity.
Lenovo K8 Plus Price in India and Availability
The Lenovo K8 Plus price in India is Rs. 10,999 – approximately $171 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting from September 7, 2017. The device comes in Venom Black and Fine Gold color options.
Lenovo K8 Plus Specifications
The Lenovo K8 Plus features a 5.2-inch 2.5D curved glass display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, along with 450 nits brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top of it. It is powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core processor that’s fueled by 64-bit MediaTek Helio P25 16nm chipset paired with Mali-T880 GPU. The device packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB with the help of microSD card slot. The company also promised 4GB RAM version in the holiday season in India.
On the camera front, the K8 Plus has a dual camera setup: 13-megapixel primary camera with Largan 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture, and secondary 5-megapixel camera with dual-tone LED Flash. For selfie, there is also an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 84-degree wide-angle lens, and front LED flash. The handset also features a dedicated music button on the left panel that controls playback and can be further customised as a launcher. Another highlight of the smartphone is its Dolby Atmos support for better speaker and headphone
As mentioned above, the K8 Plus runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out-of-the-box which also upgradable to the Android 8.0 Oreo OS. It packs a 4000mAh battery, has a dual SIM card slot on board along with 4G VoLTE connectivity, apart from 4G includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, USB OTG, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio connectivity options.
