After the official announcement of the flagship Leagoo Shark 1 and affordable Elite Y, Leagoo Mobiles quietly listed the Alfa 2 on its website without any price or availability details. The official listing of the Leagoo Alfa 2 with some notable specifications such as innovative back touch panel and Hi-Fi sound technology listing on the feature page, prompting speculation that Leagoo Alfa 2 specifications is actually meant for mid-range segment. 
As per the listing, the Alfa 2 is a dual-SIM smartphone with dual standby which runs the latest LEAGOO OS 1.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The handset is available in four different colors like Midnight Black, Dazzling White, Champagne Gold and Sweet Pink to choose.
The Alfa 2 features a 5.0-inch IPS display combined a higher pixel density of 294ppi along with HD 720 x 1280 pixel resolutions and 2.5D arc edge screen that company called new “Free Curves” screen for more brighter and excellent wide viewing angle. The smartphone listed with unspecified Quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB. 
The Alfa 2 is listed to sport Unique Back Touch panel below the camera for quick operation such as click picture via long press, tap 2 times to open your favorite apps or unlock the screen and much more. The device packs in a 2600mAh battery that’s claimed to deliver a talk time up to 15 hours along with LEAGOO LGQ1.5 flash charging technology for quick charging.
Leagoo Alfa 2 bears a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with dual tone LED flash and a front 5-megapixel camera also with LED flash to capture bright selfie. Connectivity options on the Alfa 2 include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, A-GPS and microUSB 2.0. This Leagoo Phone measures 143.6×72.6×7.5mm, weighs 140 grams, and also features Hi-Fi sound technology with the AW 8737 amplifier for high quality sound with every single detail.
