After leaked in few rumors, Honor 7X has been officially launched in China. It is a mid-range smartphone with the FullView display, Dual rear cameras and fingerprint sensor from the Huawei being launched today. Huawei Honor 7X price in China is CNY 1,299 – approximately $198 for 32GB storage, CNY 1,699 – approximately $258 for 64GB storage model and CNY 1,999 – approximately $303 for 128GB storage variant. It is now available to pre-order in China and the sales will begin on October 17th, 2017.
Honor 7X Specifications
The Honor 7X features a 5.93-inch IPS display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D curved glass layer on top of it. The device has a metal unibody design and it is powered by a 2.36 GHz octa-core processor which fueled by Kirin 659 processor paired with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. It packs a 4GB of RAM and comes in three storage options: 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the Honor 7X flaunts a dual rear camera setup including 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel camera sensors with LED flash. The secondary sensor on this device is used for calculating the depth in the image for offering better Bokeh effect. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with gestures selfie support.
The handset comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor to unlock the device quickly, it also houses Histen sound algorithm to offer 3D surround sound. The device is also IP67 certified, making it water and dust resistant.
The device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat -based on Huawei EMUI 5.1 out of the box. It packs a 3,340mAh non-removable battery that is claimed to deliver standby time up to 22 days and talk time up to 21 hours. It also supports Huawei’s SuperCharge fast charging technology using the 9V/2A (18W) power adapter. The device supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, and the device comes in Midnight Black, Platinum Gold, and Aurora Blue color options.
