Three New HD PENTAX-FA Limited Series Lenses Price, Specs, and Availability

Ricoh Imaging has announced an updated series of HD lenses the PENTAX-FA Limited. Like 25 years ago, the series consists of three fixes – a 31 mm wide angle lens, a standard 43 mm lens, and a 77 mm portrait lens. Thus, now there are three lenses: HD PENTAX-FA 31mm F1.8 Limited, HD PENTAX-FA 43mm F1.9 Limited, and HD PENTAX-FA 77mm F1.8 Limited.

HD PENTAX-FA Limited

The updated HD PENTAX-FA Limited line retains traditional focal lengths, without rounding to the nearest number, and an unusual feature is the ability to mechanically adjust the iris using a ring.

All Ricoh Pentax lenses in the Limited series feature multi-layer HD lens coating that provides high light transmittance and reduces reflections from optical surfaces for high-contrast images without glare or glare, even in backlit conditions. The front lens is protected from scratches.

Lenses come with a built-in or screw-on hood, aluminum lens cap. Each lens will be available in black and silver and will have a unique serial number.

The high-aperture wide angle lens has a complex optical design of 9 elements, two of which are low dispersion for high definition and accurate color reproduction and one aspherical for eliminating aberrations. The optics have a special anti-reflective coating for maximum light transmission. The lens provides a sharp, high-contrast image with a strong perspective in the frame.

HD PENTAX-FA 43mm F1.9 Limited

A standard high-aperture lens with a focal length of 43 mm has a Planar optical scheme, the lens is made of special glass with high light transmission. The image is characterized by accurate color reproduction and sharpness with minimal distortion. The lens allows you to shoot in low light conditions, it will be useful for shooting in the studio, as well as landscapes, including evening ones.

A bright 77mm focal length portrait lens for creative artistic photography, the optical design is designed for portraits. A special lens coating allows you to shoot against the light, it perfectly reproduces mid-tones and skin-tones. The lens can be used not only for portraits but also for shooting nature or city landscapes.
