The rumors of the new Pixel smartphone range created by Google are continuing to leak. And now newly leaked documents surfaced on the web that indicates Google Pixel 2 has received US FCC certification, approaching more and more to a possible official presentation.
Limited but concrete information leaked from FCC documentation, which confirms the product’s implementation by the Taiwanese company HTC with the NM8G011A code. From the screen shots, you can also see how Pixel 2 runs on Android 8.0.1 OS with a feature called ‘Active Edge’, probably similar to the Edge Sense feature of the HTC U11. This essentially means that users will be able to perform certain functions in the smartphone by simply squeezing its frames from the sides.
The internal storage is 64GB, with 50.66GB memory actually available for the user. As for the SoC, Pixel 2 should be equipped with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset already seen on the most important smartphones of this first part of 2017. The Pixel 2 smartphone is expected to come with 4GB of RAM with 128GB of native storage option and support NFC, Bluetooth, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi.
Based on per previous leaks, the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 specifications: feature a 4.95-inch FHD and 5.99-inch QHD displays respectively, and both devices might be launched in October 2017.
