The Garmin HRM-Fit has been officially launched worldwide. This new continuous health monitoring device targets sports bra users, boasting a more comfortable fit compared to previous models. It keeps tabs on heart rate, running dynamics, step count, and calories burned.
Recently released by Garmin, the HRM-Fit heart rate monitor made its official debut after earlier leaks and rumors dating back to last year. Designed with an attachment system for sports bras, this model promises heightened comfort over its predecessors.
The clip-on design conveniently attaches to medium- and high-support sports bras (avoid using it with longline, front-zip, or light-support sports bras).
Transmitting real-time data to Garmin apps and compatible devices, the heart rate monitor proves versatile across various activities like running, cycling, HIIT, strength training, and more. Beyond tracking running dynamics, step count, and calories burned during workouts, it monitors intensity minutes and heart rate throughout the day.
For indoor workouts on treadmills or tracks, the monitor gauges pace and distance, allowing some workouts without a smartwatch. Compact and lightweight at around 53g, it’s powered by a CR2032 battery lasting 12 months with an assumed daily usage of one hour.
To ensure accurate measurements, Garmin advises using the HRM-Fit with medium and high support sports bras, providing a sports bra fit guide. Compatible with over 200 Garmin devices, including smartwatches, cycling computers, and GPS accessories, not all watches support advanced features like capturing running dynamics.
