Dell has unveiled its latest addition to the upper mid-range segment, the Dell Latitude 5440 2023, alongside the Latitude 5540 2023. This newest Dell Latitude model boasts super-low-power displays and utilizes Intel Raptor Lake U/P processors, supporting a maximum of 64 GB DDR5 RAM. When it comes to connectivity options, this series offers an extensive range.
The new Dell business laptop computer has a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 1920×1080. CPU options include up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 U15, Intel Core i7 P28, or 12th Gen Intel Core i7 U15. All CPU options feature vPro. RAM can be configured up to 64GB of DDR4 or DDR5 (depending on CPU choice), and storage is handled by up to 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The 5440 also has the option of a GPU Nvidia GeForce MX550 (2 GB DDR6 VRAM).
Featuring a vibrant 400 cd/m² bright, matte super low-power display, the Dell business ultrabook boasts a Full HD resolution. Touch displays are available as an option, while the 2-in-1 version exclusively offers a display with 300 cd/m² brightness. The laptop offers two battery options: 42 Wh and 54 Wh.
The Dell Latitude 5440 2023 incorporates two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports with Power Delivery and DisplayPort functionality, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, a headphone jack, a tray for an optional uSIM card, and the choice of an optional Contacted SmartCard reader and touch fingerprint reader integrated into the power button. It can be charged using a 65 W or 100 W USB-C power supply. The newest Dell Latitude model supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, and it includes a full HD webcam with an optional IR feature. Furthermore, it offers the option of Ubuntu Linux 22.04 LTS, in addition to Windows 11.
