Corsair has announced the MP600 Core, MP600 Pro, and MP600 Pro Hydro X Edition PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD drives. These are M.2 drives with PCIe Gen4 x4 interface.
The MP600 Core uses 3D QLC NAND, the other two use 3D TLC NAND. For the MP600 Core model, the maximum sequential read and write speeds are 4950 MB/s and 3950 MB/s, respectively, and for the MP600 Pro and MP600 Pro Hydro X – 7000 MB/s and 6550 MB/s.
The MP600 Core is already available in 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB sizes. The 1 TB and 2 TB MP600 PRO are also available for purchase, with a 4 TB version coming soon. The MP600 Pro Hydro X Edition is only available in 2TB. Unlike the other two new products, which received aluminum radiators, it is equipped with a Corsair Hydro X Series XM2 water block. This waterblock is also offered separately, for self-installation on compatible M.2 2280 solid state drives.
The MP600 Core and MP600 Pro models are both equipped with a high surface area aluminum heatsink to effectively disperse heat and reduce throttling, maintaining the drive’s performance for years while adding a stylish accent to your motherboard. The MP600 PRO Hydro X Edition is the first CORSAIR M.2 SSD to include an integrated Hydro X Series XM2 Water Block, easily fitting into your custom cooling loop for top-of-the-line cooling and performance. The M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD drives and water block come with a five-year warranty.
