Corsair Xeneon 32QHD240 1440p 240hz monitor in UK

In addition to the Corsair Xeneon 32UHD144 (approx. £950 on Amazon), the Corsair has presented another new 1440p 240hz monitor. The Corsair Xeneon 32QHD240 is a 32-inch gaming monitor with a WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels) and a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz.

To consistently achieve and maintain suitable frame rates in this area, depending on the game, a massive reduction in graphic details or at least the use of temporal upscaling processes such as DLSS 2 or FSR 2.0 may be necessary – even with powerful gaming hardware.

The backlight of the built-in IPS panel is supported by Quantum Dots. The 240hz monitor is DisplayHDR-600-certified and promises 100 percent sRGB, 100 percent Adobe RGB and 98 percent DCI-P3. The tearing-free gaming fun is guaranteed via FreeSync Premium or G-Sync compatibility. As with the 4K sibling linked above, there is, unfortunately, no FreeSync Premium Pro that would work with active HDR in games.

On the connection side, there are two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB 3.1 hub, a headphone output, and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode. The ergonomic features include rotation, tilt, height adjustment, and rear cable management – if you decide to purchase the monitor with a stand. Otherwise, it also comes standard with a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm) for wall or swivels arm mounting.
