With Q7, Q7+, and the Q7 Max+ Roborock has introduced a new best vacuum robot series. The new robotic vacuum cleaners can vacuum and mop in one step. The navigation should be precise, the variant with the base station promises a long operation without user intervention.
Roborock offers a new vacuum and floor mopping robot. The Roborock Q7 series with an automatic suction station, which allows the robot to clean longer without user intervention. In concrete terms, the Pure auto-emptying station should enable a runtime of up to seven weeks, whereby the range of the base station’s 2.5-liter dust bag is of course heavily dependent on the degree of soiling and use.
Dirt is removed not only by robotic vacuum cleaners but also by a rotating solid rubber brush. The suction power is estimated by the manufacturer at 2,700 Pa – that is significantly more than the Roborock S6, but the Roborock S7 MaxV with 5,100 Pa offers almost twice the suction power.
The Roborock Q7 is not only the best vacuum robot but also wipes at the same time. However, this is a wiping robot in the truest sense of the word – specifically, water is poured from the 180-milliliter freshwater tank onto the mop, and the dirty water is not suctioned off.
According to the manufacturer, navigation is carried out using LiDAR, which is intended to enable both rapid mapping and collision avoidance. As usual, storing and executing routines is possible, as is voice control. The 2,500 mAh battery should last up to 180 minutes, and an area of up to 300 square meters should be possible.
