Audio Technica ATH-ADX5000 headphones will present at IFA 2017, starting from 1 to 6 September in Berlin. The ATH-ADX5000 is a high-end model that fits into the “Air Dynamic” range, comes with honeycomb housing design and packs 58mm tungsten-coated dynamic drivers.
Audio Technica ADX5000 headphones also include a new core mount technology to enhance airflow efficiency and an improved diaphragm response for better timing. It comes with a 6N-OFC oxygen-free copper cable with a 6.3 mm audio jack.
The headband has an Alcantara covering, which stretches onto enormous pads. It is being hand-assembled in Tokyo and each unit is laser-etched with its serial number. These new Audio Technica headphones have a 420 Ohm impedance which will require a high-end amplifier to get the full audio experience.
The Audio-Technica ATH-ADX5000 is expected to sell in November for $1,999 / €2,190 / £1,990, but it will be officially announced at IFA 2017.
