Last week, Amazon had announced its Prime Video services in India, and the company said that Prime Video is now available in 242 countries and territories across the world. Included with a Amazon Prime subscription that costs Rs. 499 – approximately $7.35 per year, Amazon Prime Video is available on Android, iOS, and via the Web on PCs. Means it is quite lower than Netflix, where the monthly fee is Rs. 650, and it’s also cheaper than the country’s own TV service called Hotstar, which charges Rs. 190 per month.
