Along with the Amazfit Verge, Huami also announced the Amazfit Health Band 1S, a dedicated wearable with artificial intelligence. It is also IP67 certified waterproof and dust-proof device with NFC connectivity and continuous heart rate monitor (24 hours a day).
Not only that, like the new Apple Watch Series 4, the Health Band 1S also integrates an ECG sensor to gather ECG data to identify health risks. It can track data and display it on its own display or on a connected smartphone.
The Amazfit Health Band has a 0.42-inch OLED display, weighs just 10 grams (excluding the strap) and is compatible with Bluetooth 4.0 LE connectivity. There is also a low-power accelerometer and a 95mAh battery that can last up to 7 days.
Through the official app you can monitor your sleep and your physical activity, receiving, among other things, targeted advice via video even if you need to perform a rehabilitation. Then reminders remind you to move and drink regularly to lead a healthy life.
Huami also upgraded the Band to include the new AI neural network which ensures the band delivers continuous active monitoring rather than a passive one. Huami Amazfit Health Band 1S price has been set at CNY 699 – approximately $101 and is already available in China.
