The smaller 27-inch 360Hz OLED model cannot provide a 4K resolution but has a QHD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. According to the manufacturer, this is the world’s first QD-OLED gaming monitor with a 360 Hz refresh rate. However, the response time (GtG) remains at 0.3 ms compared to the 32-inch larger model.

There is no Dolby Vision support on the Alienware AW2725DF. However, the equipment is partly similar to the sister model with 32 inches. These include VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, 99.3 percent DCI-P3 coverage, and a Delta E<2. Instead of NVIDIA G-SYNC, Alienware uses AMD FreeSync Premium Pro in combination with VESA AdaptiveSync.

For connectivity, Dell uses two DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.1, each with VRR, as well as several USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A/C ports. The included stand is height-adjustable, rotatable, and tiltable, and also supports the pivot function. Three-sided AlienFX lighting on the back provides a visual background.
