Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A are official in China. The Chinese company does not distort the philosophy of the series, offering handsets with decent technical specs at very aggressive prices.
As usual, Redmi 6A is a cheaper version of Redmi 6; the main differences are the lack of the dual rear camera sensor and the fingerprint scanner. The SoC side debuts the previously unreleased MediaTek Helio A22 – an edition with only four cores of the recent Helio P22 (which we find on Redmi 6).

Xiaomi Redmi 6 has been priced at CNY 799 – approximately $124 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model and CNY 999 – approximately $156 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. While the Xiaomi Redmi 6 price has been set at only CNY 599 – approximately $93 for the 2GB RAM + 16GB storage model. Both smartphones will be available in four colors: Gray, Blue, Gold and Rose Gold. They will be available in China from June 15th, 2018.
