Vivo Y55L has been officially launched in India today on Wednesday. It is an affordable 4G VoLTE smartphone from the Vivo Mobile Phones India with dual SIM support, and 8MP camera. The Vivo Y55L price in India is set to Rs. 12,980 and it will available for purchase soon starting from 15th October in Gold and Space Grey color options. 
This new Vivo Mobile Phone features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display alongside HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution that can convey a pixel density of 282ppi. The screen is also protected by 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 2. It has a metal uni-body with soft curved edges that makes premium looking device.
The handset is powered by the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC is accompanies a faster clock rate of 1.5 GHz. It also comes with a powerful Adreno 505 GPU along with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM which implies it will be more proficient for multitasking and 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the Y55L sports an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera with Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR and LED flash. It can shoot video in 1080p at 30 frames per second. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera to capture stunning selfie and video calling. The device also features a split-screen functionality and a unique eye protection mode that ensures comfortable screen brightness by reducing blue light that causes strain on the eyes. 
The Vivo Y55L runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with company’s own Funtouch OS 2.6 and packs a 2650mAh battery out of the box. On the connectivity front, includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack options. It measures 147.9 x 72.9 x 7.5mm and weighs 142 grams.
Last month, Vivo India, had announced budget 4G LTE Vivo Smartphone with VoLTE support, the Y21L in its Vivo Y series, priced at Rs. 7,490 and it is listed on the company’s official Indian website in White and Grey color variants.
