Along with the Xperia XA2 Ultra, Sony also expands its Xperia XA series lineup at CES 2018 with the announcement of the Sony Xperia XA2. It has a slightly smaller 5.5-inch display, rear Fingerprint sensor, and Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The Sony Xperia XA2 price yet to be declared, but it will be available from February 2018 in Silver, Black, Blue, and Gold color options.

The Sony Xperia XA2 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with Image Enhance Technology, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor which fueled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 14nm chipset paired with Adreno 508 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It packs a 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the Xperia XA2 flaunts a 23-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.3″ Exmor RS sensor, Hybrid Autofocus, 84° wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. For selfie, it has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 1/4″ Exmor RS sensor, 120-degree wide-angle lens, and f/2.4 aperture.
The Sony Xperia XA2 comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor, runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and packs a 3300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and Qnovo Adaptive Charging.
It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The device measures 142 x 70 x 9.7 mm and weighs 171 grams.
